The Arts Campus at Willits is a 501c3 nonprofit entity whose mission is to further define the cultural identity of the Roaring Fork Valley by presenting performing, cinematic and culinary arts events. Currently, TACAW is building The Contemporary, a permanent home for the arts that will open in 2021. Programming there will build upon the successes TACAW enjoyed at their interim home, The Temporary. The cultural acts presented by the organization are the culmination of decades of work to bring performing arts to the area.
TACAW is a place for creative expression and community engagement. Collaborations with local nonprofits in which artistic programming is used to highlight their work are ongoing. Educational programming ensures that students have the opportunity to find their own voice through the arts. These initiatives, coupled with compelling programming, are empowering TACAW to create a community where the arts are celebrated and integrated into daily life.
The Arts Campus at Willits is led by a Board of Directors and staff, a group of highly engaged professionals with expertise in performing arts programming, construction, development, design, nonprofit arts administration, and fundraising. All of their skills are underlined by an overwhelming commitment to the arts and the community.
